Andy Spinoza

Andy has enjoyed a 35-year career in the Manchester media, firstly as co-founder of seminal what’s on magazine City Life in 1983, then as Diary Editor of the Manchester Evening News, and now as Managing Director of SKV Communications, founded in 1998.

He has built a North West-based agency which has been honoured with over 40 industry and business awards, and SKV is the only Manchester agency with a place on the UK government communications framework.

As well as advising numerous private sector businesses and public bodies in the city, Andy is a member of the Board of Governors at the University of Manchester and a Trustee of Manchester Camerata chamber orchestra.

His relationship with the digital sector goes back to 2004, when he was the founding chairman of Manchester Digital trade association, and SKV continues to promote digital enterprises including Manchester Tech Trust.
