Beth Houghton

Beth Houghton is a Partner at Palatine Private Equity and is responsible for investing in businesses across the North of England and The Midlands. She sits on the board of a number of portfolio companies including The Alchemist, Gusto, Icelolly, and MoneyPlus.

Beth joined the Manchester mid-market specialist in 2007 after gaining an MBA with distinction from Manchester Business School. Previously she spent ten years as a management consultant working on projects in the US, Asia and across Europe.

Beth is head of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) at Palatine for which the firm has won five British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) awards in the last three years. Most recently, Beth was the winner of the Outstanding Individual Contribution Award at the BVCA Responsible Investment Awards 2016.
