Coral Grainger

Coral has helped grow Greater Manchester’s innovation ecosystem since 2009, working within digital businesses on fintech and edtech products, but also for government and universities, building bridges between employers and the suppliers of skills and talent.

As a Techstars Community Leader, Coral is closely involved in Manchester’s startup community. She has curated Manchester Startup Digest since its launch in 2012, and served as Head of Talent and Skills for TechNorth.

At Capital Relations, Coral helps clients solve big problems by building and supporting partnerships and networks. A creative urbanist with roots in planning and regeneration, Coral has worked in the private, public, education and non-profit sectors – she now joins the dots and shares knowledge between all four.  She has an MSc in Environmental Planning, is a Fellow of the Institute of Placemaking and in 2010 was nominated as a Fellow of the RSA for her contribution to economic development.
