Tom Cheesewright
Tom Cheesewright is the founder of applied futurism practice, Book of the Future, helping people and organisations around the world to see, share and respond to a clearer vision of tomorrow. His clients include BASF, BP, Cisco, LG, Nikon, Sony Pictures and Unilever.
Tom is the creator of the Applied Futurist’s Toolkit, licensing the tools of applied futurism to management and marketing consultants to help them to help their clients. He teaches the application of the tools in professional development courses at the University of Salford.
Tom is a frequent presence on TV and radio, appearing more than a thousand times in the last few years across BBC Breakfast, Sunday Brunch and Sky News, 5live, Radio 4 and TalkRadio, and many other national and local stations.
Tom co-founded successful Manchester software company CANDDi, and advises Republic of Things, the start-up IoT platform playing a critical role in Manchester’s CityVerve programme.
